Q&A
What inspired your interest in ceramics?
I had always been encouraged by my mom to explore my artistic side. I was lucky enough to grow up in a house that allowed me to follow my passions. I liked making things with my hands and creating something out of nothing. Clay was natural to me and I love that I can make pots for a living.
How did you get started?
I started my career in clay after 6 years of working in the medium (which I started doing in college while getting my degree in painting and photography). I learned most of the logistics of owning my own business by assisting a potter that I admired.
What has been your greatest accomplishment?
I worked with some large companies, Nordstrom and Madewell, to name a few. When they started reaching out to me, I knew I was in!
"Find what you're passionate about and stick with it! Make it your life."

more about me...

I started Settle Ceramics because...
I believe in making objects that mean something, items that are meant to be cherished for years, generations. We live in a disposable world and the idea of objects being precious has lost a bit of its luster to most people. I want to change that.
Along the way, I've worked with...
Harvard Art Museum, Madewell, Nordstrom, Salt & Sundry, and more!
