An uplifting true story

Captain Beverley Bass, the first-ever female Captain of American Airlines, was the pilot of one of those planes grounded in Gander, Newfoundland that day. With the news that the World Trade Center had been attacked, Beverley was forced to steer her flight off its course and into Canada. She was the 33rd wide-bodied plane out of about 37 to safely land on the small runway.

Jenn Colella is the incredibly talented woman who plays her onstage. Come From Away marks Jenn Colella’s fifth Broadway show.

Jen and Beverley now share a very close friendship.
