more about me...
I have two passions -- filmmaking and protecting the shoreline environment. These activities are so engaging for me that I often lose all track of time as I pursue these things I love!
filmmaking and design
In general I love capturing moments of all kinds, big or small, and creating stories on film. I was the subject of a
GoPro
brand development documentary and continue to work on their brand and in-market research. Recently I created a video capturing the essence of Generation Z which was recognized by Bustle Magazine
as first place winner. Last year I also had fun creating a video on local confectionaries which earned me first place in the
GCTV Video Contest.
Another similar passion is my love of drawing and designing. I designed an original tie for
Vineyard Vines which was featured among their 2014 “Design A Tie” contest winners. I was also an
OhMyEle apparel design winner featured in their Fall/Winter 2016 collection.
protecting the shoreline environment
After seeing the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy on my town’s beautiful shoreline, I co-founded Waves of Freedom, an environmental group dedicated to cleaning+protecting our local shoreline for the safety of beach-goers and wildlife. For my efforts over the past 5 years, I was the Leaders Initiative Recipient of the
John Goddard $1,500 Award for Environmental Conservancy in 2017 and earned the
Youth Leadership Award 2014 awarded by CT Recreation+Park Association. check out our
