Q+A

What do you love about your job?
I love its versatility on all aspects. Over the years I've worked on software projects dealing with genomics, mobile communication, computer networks, music videos and more. In addition, my days look very different depending on the project and which phase it is in.
What would you like the next generation of girls to know?
Computer science is everywhere,
and you can do really cool things
with the power of programming !
What does your typical day at Google look like?
As an engineering manager at Google, I do whatever my teams need me to do in order to help them progress-- mentor my team members, write design documents, write code and tests, think of new project ideas and more.

more about me

my proudest career moment was...

When I launched a new product which I started working on from the idea phase.

a fun fact about myself is...

That I recently won the Social Impact ABIE Award with a colleague of mine for our program, "Mind the Gap." This is a program aimed at encouraging high school girls to select computer science and math as their high school major.
my hobbies include...
Shopping, reading and going to the gym. Also, I recently joined a soccer league for moms and I'm really enjoying learning how to play and scoring goals!

I love engineering because...

"In this field you always have the option to do something completely different and learn something new everyday, and that's great."
